The HSBC Spanish Film Festival is getting ready to warm up Australia when it starts from June 11 nationally. The curated line-up features a fiesta of films from Spain and Latin America across Palace Cinemas, Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas and Luna Palace Cinemas.
To celebrate, we’re giving away 10 double passes to see a film of your choice at this year’s festival.
The centrepiece of this year’s festival is The Teacher Who Promised The Sea which recently won the Audience award at the 2024 Gaudi Awards. The film tells a true story a teacher who brought progressive teaching methods to a small village in 1930s Burgos. The New Spanish Cinema collection features Jokes and Cigarettes directed by David Trueba. You can view the full festival line-up here.
