Over the last decade, Big Potato Games has grown from a small team in London with the wholesome hope to bring people together through games to being one of the biggest board game companies in the market, and ultimately doing what they sought out to do when they first began their journey.
It feels like, especially in the Australian market, they are bigger than they have ever been. Their games are displayed across most if not all gaming stores, popular culture stores, and even popping up at the local department stores. Big Potato Games are on a winning streak and don’t seem to be slowing down, with YouTube giants like Smosh showing off their games in their comedy videos, reaching millions of views.
This year at PAX Australia 2025, Big Potato Games had their own table showcasing some of their classic beloved games like P for Pizza, and Chicken vs Hotdog and new ones that are sure to get fans and newcomers to their brand opting in; with Don’t Fall For It! and Whirly Derby.

Don’t Fall For It! Encompasses what people love about trivia games, but with a spicy twist. Building a tower of doom full of wooden blocks, and cardboard planks that determine your fate, you work in teams to decipher what answers are right versus what answers are wrong. You get an answer wrong, and you’re sent to the tower to remove a plank that corresponds with the colour coded wrong answer. If any of the wooden blocks fall out of the tower, and eventually add to a total of 11, you’re out! Check out their “how-to” video HERE for a more in depth explanation.

If you love a racing game, Whirly Derby is the game for you. Choose your favourite colour and watch your little guy race to the finish line. But like all Big Potato Games, there are some exciting twists and turns that may or may not help you win your next race. But you have to see it to really get a feel for the game, which you can see right HERE.

They’ve been hugely popular at PAX Australia over the weekend. So if you love fun (who doesn’t), cute, aesthetic, and silly little games, check out their website.
