Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Announced

After the DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition was released earlier this year fans will now be able to purchase the Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. The game is currently in development and is set for release in Winter 2015 on PC, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. The Special Edition will include the original 2008 release, three new playable characters, Dante’s twin brother Vergil, the mysterious Trish and the demon hunter Lady. There is also a Legendary Dark Knight Mode which was first introduced on PC and will now be available to the console players. In this mode your combat skills will be pushed to the test fighting hordes of enemies at once.

For all you technical out there you’ll be please to know that Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition runs at a smooth 60fps with high-res textures running at 1080p.

On the coast of a distant land lies the castle town of Fortuna. It is here that the group known as the Order of the Sword practices a mysterious religion. They revere the demon warrior Sparda, who as their god fought to protect humans, and are committed to the extermination of all demons. 

In Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, Nero, a young knight from the Order, is tasked with finding Dante, the mysterious assassin who murdered the head of the Order of the Sword. At the same time, more demons begin to appear throughout the city. 

Nero will soon come to discover the motives behind Dante’s appearance and the truth behind the intentions of the Order of the Sword…
