Reviews across the board are overwhelmingly positive, with the general sentiment being an improved game to Fallen Order, iterating on gameplay features, whilst several fixing criticisms of the original title. James Wood of Press Start stated, ‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sharpens combat and exploration to a fine point while delivering a story that goes all in on its characters and human drama.’

However, some reviews suggest poor pacing, overly done exploration, and poor performance on PS5 and PC bring the experience down. Morgan Park of PC Gamer cites that ‘even with Nvidia’s latest driver specifically optimized for the game, my framerate regularly slowed to a crawl at very annoying moments.’
