The news just keeps getting better! Coming off of their huge announcement last week, PAX have unveiled an incredible group of brands showcasing their products and games on the Expo Floor. Including massive console and publisher brands like Nintendo, Xbox, The Sims, Devolver Digital & Massive Monster, Bethesda, Gearbox, and Ubisoft showing off the newest hardware, exciting blockbuster titles, exclusive content to PAX Australia 2025, and activations across the whole weekend. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be seeing on the Expo Floor from a few of these brands at this year’s PAX Australia.
Nintendo
With Nintendo’s highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 being released only a few months ago, Nintendo will be bringing some exclusive content across the new console. For the first time on Aussie shores, we’ll get to explore the world of Lumiose City in the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition a few days before it officially launches on the 16th of October. Lovers of Kirby will also get a taste of the vehicle action game, Kirby Air Riders (releasing on the 20th of November), and a chance to demo Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.
There’ll also be a chance to test out the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and a showcase for a slew of titles including the beloved game Hades II and Australian made Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Xbox
Be one of the first to get your hands on the ROG Xbox Ally with Xbox’s booth. They’ll be demoing the handheld game console at this year’s PAX with NINJA GAIDEN 4 to help fully immerse yourselves in this unmissable experience.
The Sims
Remember when the first thing you’d do after school is hop on The Sims until it was time to go to sleep? Well they’re letting us relive the good ‘ol days and taking us on a nostalgia trip with a trial of their newest expansion pack, Adventure Awaits at their Camp Gibbi Gibbi booth. There’ll also be chances to win some cool limited Sims merch if you are down to participate in some camp activities.
The Sims FreePlay will also be camping out and giving us a preview of their next update and in-game campground lot.
Devolver Digital & Massive Monster
Australia’s own Cult of The Lamb are back this year with a first hand go at the new Cult of the Lamb DLC, Woolhaven. Fans are in for a treat with a bunch of surprises, gameplay, merch, and a photo op with The Lamb in the Temple. Last year they even legally married two wonderful couples, so who knows what this year will bring!
Ubisoft
Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of Rainbow Six Siege with live esports with some of the best teams across Asia Pacific, a creator showmatch, and a fireside chat with Game Director Joshua Mills. So head on over for all the best Ubisoft has to offer!
