PAX Aus 2026 Early Bird Badges go on sale online at 12pm AEDT on March 24, 2026 here.
PAX Aus feels like home. As soon as you walk through those doors you feel welcomed and all the worries of the outside world seem to melt away. For three short days every year I make the trek south to Melbourne ready to see what is on the horizon for gamers of every variation. From the Indie devs to the weird and wonderful world of tabletop there seems to be something for everyone, and each year it just keeps on getting bigger!
The talent on show from the amazing people looking to develop the next big thing is elevated even further by the amazing and personal stories they put into their works for the world to see. We truly have some of the best story tellers locally. Let’s not forget the tech! Every year I have gone with a budget and every year I blow it.
But enough about that, we have the official release information now as PAX Aus gears up for a massive 2026. Publishers, developers, tabletop creators, hardware innovators, cosplayers, and industry talent are all getting ready to welcome you to PAX Land for three days chock full of some amazing experiences.
Badges will be available at special early bird pricing for a limited time. Every year these sell out quick so get in as early as you can! Link to purchase is above or right here below.

The Where and the When???
PAX Aus is heading back to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9-11 October 2026, once again closing out Melbourne International Games Week, Australia’s biggest celebration of games. A week-long event around the city that we will cover as it gets closer.
This year PAX Aus is partnering up with Beyond Blue. A cause close to my heart and one who provides essential services and support for any Aussies whose mental health could do with a tune up. Beyond Blue will be on the event floor as an official charity partner.
Georgie Harman AO, CEO Beyond Blue said,
“We’re proud to be returning to PAX as the event’s official charity partner, and to continue to be part of a community that connects people through play. Last year, we saw first‑hand how strongly the gaming community shows up for one another. For many people, gaming in moderation can promote connection, friendships, enjoyment, and a sense of belonging – helping them look after themselves and others.
“With PAX, we can help keep mental health part of everyday life, reminding people of the importance of looking after themselves and that it’s never too early to reach out to Beyond Blue if they’re struggling.”
For anyone going through a hard time, the Beyond Blue Support Service is free and available 24/7 on 1300 22 4636 or online beyondblue.org.au/getsupport – it’s never too early to reach out for support.
PAX Aus Event Director, Lauren Luciani, said,
“After an incredible year in 2025, we’re so excited to welcome fans back for PAX Aus 2026 and introduce them to PAX Land.
“Every year we aim to create an unforgettable experience for every kind of gamer, whether you love AAA blockbusters, indie gems, family tabletop game nights, mobile gaming, or live panels. But it’s the passion and energy of our community that truly powers the event.
“We can’t wait to see everyone back at MCEC in October for three full days of reveals, community, and ridiculous amounts of gaming.”
So what are you waiting for? PAX Aus will be here before you know it and you won’t want to miss this one!
