Xbox GamesCom 2015 RoundUp

While you were sleeping Xbox announced a few new things at GamesCom 2015. The keynote was simply a rehash of their E3 conference and see’s several improvements to the console and a whole lot of Halo!

CrackDown 3 is COMING! Although we did not get a release date, the studio did confirm it will use the Microsoft cloud to provide “20 times more computational power” than the Xbox One. You can watch the trailer below

Windows 10 was released last week and is set to redesign the Xbox One dashboard with solid  integration set for release in November. The new design is set to be faster and easier to navigate and will incorporate Microsoft’s assistant Cortana.

Games With Gold members will be happy today confirming that all games released will be backwards compatible. This will include 360 games free on the service will be playable on Xbox One, giving 4 free games per month when this rolls out. This is a bold move for Microsoft and could result in more subscribers.

Dragon Themed Game Scalebound boasted 5 minutes of breathtaking gameplay. The game is set for release late 2016. You can watch the trailer below

In Halo news, a Halo 5 themed Xbox One 1TB console has been confirmed for release. The console features metallic blue detailing on both console and controller and will go on sale one week before the game comes out in October. No pricing for the Australian model yet.

h5Halo Wars 2 was officially announced, the original was a 2009 real time strategy time. The game is being made by Creative Assembly, the team behind by Alien Isolation.

Quantum Break is coming April 5th 2016 and packs a star studded human cast of Shawn Ashmore, Aidan Gillen and Lance Reddick. Watch the trailer below
