Disney and Pixar have released the first full trailer for the upcoming original feature film Elemental releasing only in cinemas June 15, 2023.
Set in Element City, it showcases a bunch of elements like fire, wind, earth and water, where they all live and work together. The story seems to focus on Ember (fire) and Wade (water) who are finding their way in the world. Wade is trying to open Ember’s eyes to the larger world and their place in it, defying what their parent’s expectations are of their lives.
The trailer is filled with a ton of Pixar-style humour (specifically with water and a sponge!) and some truly impressive animation.
Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, p.g.a., and executive produced by Pete Docter, “Elemental” features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh with story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman.
Elemental will hit theatres in June 15, 2023 with a brand new short titled Carl’s Date.
