Sydney Film Festival Kicks Off TONIGHT!

If you are in Sydney you won’t be able to walk 5 metres without seeing a beautiful poster for the Sydney Film Festival. The annual event kicks off tonight with the premiere of Geoffrey Rush’s new film The Daughter at the State Theatre in Market Street. The festival features screenings of 200 films from over 50 countries. The Festival tells incredible Australian and international stories; and celebrates world cinema, filmmakers, our city and lovers of film everywhere.

If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, the SFF Hub is offering some free events, starting from tomorrow night with Film Trivia.

Comedians Mark Humphries (The Roast) and Duncan McLean (The Doctor Of Movies) for film trivia starting from 8:30pm. There will be some great prizes up for grabs. After the trivia stick around for some nostalgia with a discussion on film soundtracks. This stunning video and tunes presentation will delight film buffs of any generation!
