The Best Movies of 2024

It’s been a year of movies. Our writing team attended over ten film festivals across four different states in Australia, including our first time covering the Slamdance Film Festival internationally. It was no easy feat to get a definitive list of the year’s best movies. All of our team has different viewing habits, and there are only a certain number of hours in the week for movie watching. So instead of one definitive list, we have provided our writers top 10 movies individually for the year below for your consideration.

Please see below the writers on Novastream and their top 10 movies of 2024. They are all worth checking out; we can’t wait to see what cinematic treats await us in 2025. *Shoutout to our other writers who contributed to the website this year Christopher John & Blake Ison
