Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega lead an all-star cast in this year’s Death of a Unicorn. Debutant writer/director Alex Scharfman brings us this unique story when a father (Paul Rudd) and daughter (Jenna Ortega), en route to a weekend retreat with his billionaire boss, accidentally hit and kill a unicorn. Of course, his boss works out the curative properties of the unicorn and goes about trying to exploit the poor creature.
Death of a Unicorn made my list of 25 most anticipated movies releasing this year and we now have a local release date. April 10th, 2025 in cinemas everywhere.

Paramount Animation is set to release a new Smurfs film featuring a fresh animation style and a star-studded voice cast, including Rihanna and John Goodman. The story follows Smurfette as she leads the Smurfs to rescue Papa Smurf from evil wizards. The film is scheduled for a July 10 release.
