Just when you thought you couldn’t take anymore, Netflix and Adam Sandler confirm that their partnership is continuing with four more films heading our way after the two more due in the current deal.
Sandler’s new film Sandy Wexler is coming April 24 on the streaming service and co-stars Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls, Sex & The City) about a talent agent who has a knack for spotting stars. The film also stars Judd Apatow, Jayne Seymour, Kevin James and David Spade.
“Adam Sandler one of the leading comedians in the film world, and his movies have proven to be extremely successful with our subscribers around the world,” Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to extend our partnership with Adam and his entire team at Happy Madison and keep the world laughing.” Sandler said of the deal in a statement, “Love working with Netflix and collaborating with them. I love how passionate they are about making movies and getting them out there for the whole world to see. They’ve made me feel like family and I can’t thank them enough for their support.”
