Jurassic World has stomped out all of the box office competition since its release three weeks ago. The dino film has surpassed Avengers Age Of Ultron and Furious 7 to become the highest grossing movie of 2015 as well as the highest grossing opening weekend of all time. Big titles like Ted 2 and Inside Out failed to take the number one spot, with Terminator Genysis and Magic Mike XXL due in the next few weeks, time will tell if they can bring in the big numbers.
Universal have not made an announcement on the future of the Jurassic series, although two or three more film announcements are expected any day now.
