Pop royalty is coming to Netflix. With over 80 million records sold and a career that has consistently reshaped the pop music landscape, Kylie Minogue is finally opening up her personal archives. A new, intimate three-part documentary simply titled KYLIE is set to premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Diving deep into a lifetime caught on tape, the series promises an unprecedented look at the woman behind the chart-topping hits. KYLIE will feature a treasure trove of previously unseen home movies, personal photographs, and brand-new interviews with the pop icon herself. Going beyond the glitter and euphoria of her music, the documentary will explore how Minogue navigated intense public scrutiny, devastating personal loss, and illness with her trademark grit and grace, earning her respect that stretches far beyond her own devoted fandom.
Kylie won’t be the only one telling the story. The series features fresh insights from an impressive lineup of friends, family, and iconic collaborators. Viewers will hear from sister Dannii Minogue, Neighbours co-star and former flame Jason Donovan, musical collaborator Nick Cave, and legendary producer Pete Waterman, all celebrating the joy and connection that make Kylie unmistakably Kylie.
The project boasts serious documentary pedigree behind the camera. It is directed by Emmy and BAFTA Award-winner Michael Harte, known for his masterful editing and direction on Three Identical Strangers, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, and BECKHAM. Production is helmed by John Battsek’s Ventureland, the multi-award-winning team that recently delivered hits like The Deepest Breath, WHAM!, and BECKHAM.
All three episodes of KYLIE will launch globally on Netflix on May 20, 2026.
