Nintendo have confirmed a new mode coming to the break out hit Splatoon. The Tower Control Mode will be added as of July 1 at 7pm (NOW!)
This new mode will be added to Ranked Battle alongside Splat Zones. According to the press release, the “objective of Tower Control is to ride a single floating tower into the enemy’s base.”
The tower starts in the middle of the map, and starts moving when someone is aboard. However riding the tower makes you a big target for everyone on the opposing team. Tower Control is the second new mode which has been added to the newest Nintendo franchise.
