An all-new trailer and poster for “Avengers: Doomsday,” has been released. The December 17 theatrical release will see Marvel’s greatest heroes reunite since the record-breaking Avengers End Game in 2019. While much has happened in the MCU since that date with countless streaming TV shows on Disney +, animated shows, and several movies, it is largely unknown the specific details of this film outside of the fan favourite Robert Downey Jnr returning as Doctor Doom.
Marvel Studios have released an official synopsis stating “In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.” We already know the Fox X-Men universe are here and then the official MCU Earth 616, and the Fantastic Four-verse. The trailer shows us some surprises like Gambit played by Channing Tatum and Mystique mirroring Yelena.
Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo; and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, with Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
Avengers: Doomsday releases exclusively in cinemas December 17, 2026.
