Disney + have released the full trailer for Chip’n Dale Rescue Rangers. The comeback is a blend of live-action/CG and animation and from the looks of this trailer promises to be very VERY funny.
In “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers,” Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different now. It has been decades since their successful television series was cancelled, and Chip (voice of John Mulaney) has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale (voice of Andy Samberg), meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days. When a former castmate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.
The movie will release exclusively on Disney + on May 20
Magic Beach is an animated portmanteau film inspired by Alison Lester's picture book. Blending live-action and diverse animation styles, it explores children's dreams through ten vignettes. However, it suffers from a weak narrative, inconsistent storytelling, and a slow pace, limiting its appeal despite imaginative visuals and a collaborative soundtrack.
"Back in Action" marks Cameron Diaz's return to film after a decade, co-starring Jamie Foxx in a Netflix action-comedy centered on former CIA agents forced back into espionage. While predictable, it charms audiences through dynamic performances and creative action sequences, delivering light entertainment without breaking new ground in the genre.
The remake of the classic Universal horror film explores themes of family and generational trauma through the story of Blake, a father undergoing a slow transformation into a creature. Directed by Leigh Whannell, the film combines intense atmosphere with practical effects, jump scares, and a focus on familial relationships, capturing the tension as Blake strives to avoid repeating his father's mistakes.
