Prime Video has officially pulled back the curtain on the end of The Boys.
During a packed CCXP Brazil panel overnight, more than 3,000 fans at the Thunder Stage erupted as Prime Video confirmed that the fifth and final season of The Boys will premiere on April 8, 2026, alongside the debut of the show’s first official teaser trailer.
Showrunner and executive producer Eric Kripke was joined on stage by cast members Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Colby Minifie, revisiting the most outrageous, shocking, and fan-favourite moments from the series before delivering an electrifying first look at the brutal final chapter.
When Does The Boys Season 5 Release?
Season five will launch with two episodes on April 8, 2026, followed by weekly releases, culminating in what Prime Video promises will be an epic and unforgettable series finale on May 20, 2026. The final season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The Endgame Is Here
The teaser sets the stage for a dangerous new status quo. Homelander now rules unchecked, bending the world to his unstable and egomaniacal will. Meanwhile, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie have been imprisoned in a so-called “Freedom Camp.” Annie attempts to mount a resistance against overwhelming Supe forces, Kimiko’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the world teeters on the brink of collapse.
Enter Billy Butcher.
