In 2016 Ben Affleck released a movie to somewhat middling success. The Accountant didn’t hit the heights or receive the recognition that it really deserved, it was however one of my favourite movies released that year even with the quality content that dropping all around it. Since, it has gone on to be one of my favourites and a movie I watch regularly. It is the story of Christian Wolff, a forensic accountant who works in the shadows for some of the most dangerous people on the planet. Christian is autistic and has a certain talent for solving complex problems.
In the sequel Christian must work with his brother to solve the murder of his old acquaintance before becoming the next victims. Judging by the trailer The Accountant 2 looks to bring all the positives from the original into a new story while kicking the action up a notch.
