The Fantastic Four : First Steps is the latest film in the MCU that will introduce one of the Fox Marvel properties into the MCU. Bringing in a brand new cast including Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing
This first full trailer gives us an extended look at the world that Marvel’s first family are in, complete with robots and 1960’s esque retro future vibes. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer. The movie is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously worked on WandaVision for Marvel Studios. Shakman directed the 2014 movie Cut Bank with Liam Hemsworth and Malkovich, while he’s also helmed episodes of Six Feet Under, Everyone Hates Chris, Psych, House M.D., It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Ugly Betty, Mad Men, The Good Wife, Fargo, Game of Thrones, Succession, The Boys and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
