A brand new trailer for Dune : Prophecy has dropped today ahead of the highly anticipated premiere in November.
The new show comes from the universe of Dune previously explored in the first two films Dune and Dune Part II.
From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel ‘SISTERHOOD OF DUNE,’ written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
The show has a stacked cast including Aussie stars Travis Fimmel, Josh Heuston, Shalom Brune-Franklin and Yerin Ha.
The series is co-produced by Max and Legendary Television with Legendary also producing the film franchise that has released two installments to critical acclaim, the first of which garnered six Academy Awards.
The series will stream in Australia exclusively on Binge in November
The remake of the classic Universal horror film explores themes of family and generational trauma through the story of Blake, a father undergoing a slow transformation into a creature. Directed by Leigh Whannell, the film combines intense atmosphere with practical effects, jump scares, and a focus on familial relationships, capturing the tension as Blake strives to avoid repeating his father's mistakes.
