TUDUM 2025 Recap

Awkward cast interactions, hokey group photos and weird Q&A’s with the production crew holding signs behind cast members with the passes showing. Netflix’s Tudum 2025 was a mixed bag. What used to be a showcase for the company to release trailers, season renewals and new shows. This year, the company took a “live” approach, in a stadium in Los Angeles, the event was more about spectacle and hype than actual content.

Wake Up Dead Man : A Knives Out Mystery – Writer/Director Rian Johnson took the stage to introduce the stacked cast including Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Mila Kunis and Daniel Craig for the third film in the Benoit Blanc film series. Instead of a full-blown trailer, we got a date announcement teaser. The dark tone and visuals look starkly contrast to the bright visuals of Glass Onion. Catch the teaser below.

Building The Band – Netflix’s new music show features a bunch of singers all singing in a pod, the other singers hear each other and then pick their own group based on vocals before ever seeing each other. The show is hosted by Kelly Rowland, Joey Fatone, Nicole Scherzinger and the late Liam Payne. Watch the teaser below.

The Rip – Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunite for a crime drama. It will release on Netflix January 16, 2026. Watch the teaser below.

Frankenstein – famed directed Guillermero Del Toro along with Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth came out to introduce their Franekstein film. The highly anticipated project from the oscar winning director is set to release in November this year. Watch the gorgeous trailer below.

Happy Gilmore 2 – you can never be mad at Adam Sandler for making the world laugh. Whether you love or hate his films, you can’t deny the power of his films and the following he has amassed over the years. The main cast took the stage to answer questions from their fellow cast mates alongside a new trailer for the highly anticipated project.

Stranger Things Season 5 – One of the streaming service’s biggest hits is coming to an end with season 5. After a massive break, the final season will start November 26 with Part 1, Christmas Part 2 and the Finale on New Years. It’s set to be a massive conclusion to the series that kept Netflix going for so long. Watch the teaser below.

Wednesday Season 2 – The cast (minus Catherine Zeta Jones) graced the stage to introduce the first 6 minutes of the second season of the hit show. The show also confirmed that the next season will be split into two parts, with the highly anticipated appearance from Lady Gaga appearing in the second part. This was followed by a live performance by Lady Gaga with her song Zombie Boy, Abracadabra and Bloody Mary from her latest album Mayhem. Watch the trailer and performance below.
