Trailer – Jackass Forever

Whether I’m the exception to the rule, or the bridge bringing two worlds of cinema lovers together, I’m a film-lover who can gloat about award-winning features until the cows come home, and still have Jackass Forever as my most anticipated film of 2022. I grew up in the height of Jackass dominating MTV and was that annoying teenager who plastered the early days of YouTube with grainy videos of not-so-gnarly stunts because I thought I was ‘cool’.

The Jackass crew were an integral part of my upbringing, making me laugh in the dark, unnerving adolescent years and bringing joy to me and my friends through their infectious, brotherly comradery. I even teared up during the end credits of Jackass 3 when Weezer’s Memories blasted to footage of all the Jackass crew when they were younger, because I thought that would be the last time I see them on screen! However, seeing their return 12 years after the last film for a final swan song, whilst introducing new members to the crew has had me immensely excited and filled with the feeling of nostalgic goodness, and on February 3, the fourth instalment in the film series will hit Australian cinemas, courtesy of Paramount Pictures.

Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast.  Johnny and the team push the envelope even further in jackass forever.
