Best Games Of 2018 (so far!)

It’s official! We are now more than halfway through the year and we have seen some addictive games hit our consoles. While the best may be yet to come in 2018, here is out list of our favourite games so far this year.

10 – The Crew 2.

The surprise follow up from Ubisoft boasting better online multiplayer with boats, trucks, cars, jetskis, motorbikes and more, truly blew us away.

9 – Donkey Kong Country : Tropical Freeze

The HD remake for the Nintendo Switch could have been a mediocre lazy cash grab, instead giving us Funky Kong and the ability to take gorgeous 1080p DK goodness on the go!

8 – Wolfenstein II : The New Colossus (Switch)

Who would have thought that one of the best Switch games would be a port from Gearbox? This iteration is beautiful, addictive and bug free. A portable Nazi killing machine!

7 – Celeste*

2d platforming graphics on this platformer takes love to a new level. This gem is emotional and worth every cent.

6 – Ni No Kuni II : Revenant Kingdom

The complete RPG experience, this follow up is beauty, love and perfection. One for JRPG fans and those who loved the first.

5- Monster Hunter World

Capcom open up the Monster Hunter universe to the masses with this multi console open world epic that has become an instant classic.

4 – Far Cry 5

While the cult concept dies off pretty quickly, the open world missions and terrifying human sacrifice factor make this the creepiest Far Cry to date.

3 – Detroit Become Human

Quantic Dream delivered another solid entry into gaming history with this android game. Beautiful cinematics and choices make this game worth the wait.

2 – Sea Of Thieves

Xbox and Rare studios deliver a MMO experience like no other! With beautiful graphics and a ton of free updates this game has been a solid entry into the games cannon this year.

1 – God Of War

As if there was any doubt that this game would make the cut. God Of War took the world by surprise being the first entry in the series to actually tell an incredible story with father and son dynamic that turned grown men into cry babies. If you haven’t played this yet, you really REALLY need to.
