Hogwarts Legacy revealed official footage

Playstation debuted a State of Play this morning showcasing the first official gameplay from the upcoming title. This open-world, action role-playing game is set in the wizarding world in the 1800’s. This footage shows off just how huge this game is. You can customise your character and learn a variety of different spells and potions to best get through each scenario.

Along with a huge castle showcasing next areas we haven’t seen in the films, the footage also showed off other playable locations including Hogsmeade and the surrounding areas of the castle that will be accessible. You can also learn to fly and use a broomstick to travel around. 

The story investigates a type of dark magic that a rumoured goblin rebellion and dark wizard alliance rising up. You will also attend classes and advance your potion making skills along with learning new spells and training beasts to help your character in battles.

Hogwarts Legacy will release later this year on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
