The Witcher 3 has proven to be a deep and immersive game consuming hours and hours of my life as I move from quest to quest, slaying monsters, and collecting sweet sweet bounties. And yet, despite all of this, one of the things that has stood out to me is the volume of bare chests on display in this game, contrasted against zero nudity from the waist down. For a game as liberal as The Witcher 3 in terms of gender and sex, a game that treats sex realistically and encourages sex positivity rather than the violent sex depicted in games like GTA, its really surprising to me that nudity from the waist down is still too taboo for developers to include (with the exception of that penis glimpse in The Order).
