The Knight Before Christmas

Netflix is delivering on the Christmas goods once again, with a feel good, cheesy Christmas Rom-Com called ‘The Knight Before Christmas’ starring Vanessa Hudgens in the lead role as Brooke. Brooke meets Sir Cole played wonderfully by Josh Whitehouse, who is a medieval knight who suddenly finds himself in the modern time due to a curse by an Old Crone to discover what’s in his heart that will lead him to become a Knight!

The story is beyond simplistic and predictable, and has many plot holes you could easily throw a ball through. Surprisingly, this doesn’t hurt the charm at all of this movie, and may actually add to the charm instead.. It is an incredibly funny movie that offers great chemistry with the two lead characters, and the ‘love’ story isn’t forced in the slightest despite its short 92 minute duration.

If you are looking for a unique film, you’re looking in the wrong place. If you are looking for a fun Christmas movie, that will make you feel joyful, loved, and put you in a Christmas mood you are in the right place.

The Knight Before Christmas ticks all the right boxes to lead you right into Christmas, a must see film for December, and I can’t wait for the news to break about a potential sequel to be on the way!

The Knight Before Christmas is streaming on Netflix right now.
