New Cloverfield Movie Coming In 2017

After the success of 10 Cloverfield Lane a confirmed share universe was announced from creator J J Abrams and Paramount Pictures with a third film in the universe rumoured to be coming soon.

Today at Cinema Con the third film was announced as well as a new release date for October 2017.

The film revolves around a team of Astronauts on board an American Space Station who discover that Earth has suddenly disappeared after an accident with a particle accelerator. The plot thickens when the Astronauts discover traces of another space station nearby.

The untitled Cloverfield movie previously known as God Particle was originally slated to hit theaters on February 25, 2017, but was plucked from the date and delayed until October. The cause for the delay itself remains unknown.

The film stars Gugu-Mbatha Raw, David Oyelowo, John Krasinski, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris O’Dowd, Ziyi Zhang and Daniel Brühl. Here’s the official synopsis:

A shocking discovery forces a team of astronauts aboard a space station to fight for survival while their reality has been altered.

The Untitled Cloverfield movie hits theaters October 27, 2017.
