News : Twitter Launches Autoplay Videos

As one of the most important uses of social media, Twitter has now created an upgrade for its website and app, in order to produce an enhanced user experience.

From today, it is going to be even easier to enjoy videos on Twitter, allowing people to keep up with the action, not missing a tweet and getting a more in depth sense of what is being instantly shared.

Twitter has now introduced a more efficient way for users to experience videos, GIFS and Vines on the site and app, allowing a new autoplay video and new method advertisers to measure viewability.

These upgrades now allow promoted videos on Twitter to continue delivering high impact for advertisers, showing a new standard on the website for how brands will be charged for a video view. Twitter officials have stated that the site will only consider a view on a video chargeable when a video is completely in-view on the users device and has been on screen for at least 3 seconds.

Now when you see a video on the site and through the app, you will be able to tap it once to activate the sound and the video will expand over the whole screen of your device.

Although, you always have the total control through the settings of your device. You are able to choose to revert the previous click-to-play experience the whole time or to have videos on autoplay when your Wi-Fi is connected to your device.

These changes are now available on the Twitter website and iOS devices from today with Android accessibility coming soon.

While the POV technique adds intrigue, the film leans more toward family drama than horror, delivering a slow-burn experience.
