It’s nearly here! Apple TV Plus launches this Saturday.
The streaming service will cost $8.99 a month in Australia and every new sign up gets a 7 day trial. Alternatively if it is time to upgrade your iphone, ipad, Mac or Apple TV you get a free subscription for 1 year included. Be careful you only get 1 free year of Apple TV + on your account regardless of how many upraded products you buy.
Up to six family members can share the one Apple TV+ Subscription and we are still waiting on confirmation if you need to be family within the apple account or if TV will be something seperate.
The service will have a different approach to new episodes with weekly episode releases being planned as opposed to the binge approach. Apple have stated that shows will release with three episodes at launch and the weekly with some exceptions having the whole season at once.
At launch the service will be free of any ads and you can watch content offline via a download feature on compatible devices.
So what can you watch on Saturday? Here are the list of shows and some trailers and descriptions below :
See – a futuristic sci fi show starring Jason Mamoa where a virus has wiped out most of earth. The survivors are blind and now must navigate the world like never before. Watch the trailer below
Reece Witherspoon, Steve Carrell and Jennifer Aniston star in The Morning Show, a drama that goes behind the scenes of a morning talk show. It looks very interesting and is being helmed as the service’s hot show. Watch the trailer below
Hailee Steinfeld stars as Emily Dickinson in a coming of age story based on the real life story of the famous author.
For All Mankind is a sci fi series based on space travel. The premise of the show is an alternate history between the USA and Russia. Watch the interesting trailer below
We haven’t watched any of the series yet (if anyone reading has any media details please hook us up!) so all we can go on are these trailers which admittedly do look pretty good.

Heretic is a psychological horror film starring Hugh Grant as Mr. Reed, who entraps two Mormon missionaries, Sister Barnes and Sister Paxton, in his eerie home. The film explores themes of faith and belief, delivering unsettling twists. While it falters in depth, Grantās performance and cinematography maintain viewer intrigue throughout.
